Prader- Willi Syndrome
What is it?
Prader willi symdrome is a genetic disorder. the syndrome is mainly targeted at the chromosome number 15 but they still haven't pin pointed the exact location. Prader willi syndrome disrupts the normal function of the brain cycle, it delays the ability to sexually develop, and muscle growth. this disease affects 1 and every 30,000 people world wide. and all ethnic races. it is not inherited it is sex linked. currently there is no cure for PWS (prader will syndrome) but with early diagnoses and gentle management to slow down the disease of PWS. But they way scientists are going now with technology, eventually they are saying a cure will be found for PWS. But for now patients of PWS or relying on therapy to help grow there muscles.
sYMPTOMS
Some Signs to keep an eye out for if you think you know someone who might suffer from PWS is.
1. poor muscle tone.
2. distinct facial features, or attributes.
3. they fail to thrive as a normal human being.
4. They will lack eye coordination.
5. And PWS sufferers will normally have poor responsiveness.
Heavy suferers of PWS is expected to live from birth to about 50 years old, but a PWS patient who isn't suffering as bad can live well passed his or her 50s.

Prader Wilie Syndrome is a genetic disordrer that spurs the mental and physical growth of the paitient. It leaves the person with an endless appetite that must be under close watch or they could possiably eat themsevles to death. It also heavily impacts the brain as it slows the mental growth of the patient leaving them most of the time in an elementy school childs' capacity. PWS is a very treatable and livable disorder witht the help of a proper diet and exercise and of course with the help and patients of a loving parents.
